Description	:	AURORA — Lyle Fredrick Troester, 89, of Aurora died Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Hamilton Manor in Aurora. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Rev. Wayne Oblender will officiate. Burial will be in the Salem Cemetery south of Hampton. Higby-McQuiston Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Troester was born March 8, 1924, south of Hampton to Herman and Helen (Salchow) Troester. Those left to cherish his memory are three nephews, two nieces, brother-in-law, Ed Kokes and numerous family and friends. Lyle lived in the Hampton area his entire life, where he worked as a third-generation farmer on the homestead with his twin brother Leland. For the past two years, he has resided at the Hamilton Manor, where he enjoyed playing bingo and other activities with the residents. Lyle was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Aurora, where he was a faithful member. He served as head usher for 60 years.
