Lynda spent her first two years in the sandhills southeast of Holyoke. Between 1950 and 1953 her family lived in Elgin, NE before finally moving to Alhambra, CA. She passed away in her home Tuesday, October 12, 1993 at the age of 44. Lynda spent her first two years in the sandhills southeast of Holyoke. Between 1950 and 1953 her family lived in Elgin, NE before finally moving to Alhambra, CA. She spent most of her childhood in Alhambra. She attended All Souls Catholic School until eighth grade and graduated from Alhambra High with the Class of 1967. After working in San Francisco for a year, Lynda entered the U.S. Army in October of 1968 and during her three-year enlistment met and married Garry Kramer. After the ceremony on May 23, 1970, they lived in Denver until they were both discharged. Lynda then moved with Garry to Holyoke, where they have been involved with the operation of Kramer Feedlot. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Friends of the Library and Writer's Club. She also represented Phillips County as a board member on the Northeast Colorado Book Mobile. Preceding her in death were her father; twin brother Glenn; infant brother Danny; nephews Jimmy Phelps and Todd Kramer; and brother-in-law Mickey Kramer. She is survived and dearly missed by husband Garry, son Craig and daughter Jamee of the family home; daughter Kelly of Fairbanks, AK; mother Kathryn Mansfield of El Monte, CA; sisters Marilyn Phelps of Chino, CA and Carolyn Pena of Whittier, CA; brother Jim Mansfield of San Diego, CA; father and mother-in-law Vernon and Opal Kramer of Holyoke; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Mass of the Christian Burial was Friday, October 15, 1993 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Holyoke with Rev. Jerry Young as Celebrant. Burial followed in Holyoke Memorial Park.
