Description	:	Lynette Holan, 52, of Pierce died Thursday, June 7, 2012, at her home. Lynette was born June 10, 1959, at Norfolk to Elvin D. "Red' and Phyllis J. (Silhacek) Krohn. Lynette was baptized July 12, 1959, and confirmed April 15, 1973, at Zion Lutheran Church, Pierce. She graduated from Pierce High School in 1977 and Northeast Community College in 1978 as an LPN. Read More	Lynette Holan, 52, of Pierce died Thursday, June 7, 2012, at her home. Lynette was born June 10, 1959, at Norfolk to Elvin D. "Red' and Phyllis J. (Silhacek) Krohn. Lynette was baptized July 12, 1959, and confirmed April 15, 1973, at Zion Lutheran Church, Pierce. She graduated from Pierce High School in 1977 and Northeast Community College in 1978 as an LPN. Lynette married Paul Holan at Zion Lutheran Church at Pierce on May 20, 1978. The couple lived in Guam for two years while Paul was in the Air Force. Lynette worked in a clinic. They moved back to Pierce in 1981. She worked at the Plainview hospital for 10 years. Lynette then went to work at Faith Regional Health Services, where she worked in ambulatory surgery. She loved her job of helping patients, of putting them at ease. She loved life and being with her grandsons and family. She was always busy and taking bike rides and walks. She enjoyed taking trips — an Alaskan cruise, China, Germany, Las Vegas, California, the Black Hills, Washington, D.C., and a yearly tubing trip at Valentine. Lynette was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Pierce, and Ladies Aid. Survivors are: husband, Paul Holan of Pierce; children, Karie and husband Patrick Quintana of Papillion, Jason Holan of Pierce and Daniel Holan of Lincoln four grandsons; sister, Pam and husband Willam Purington of Columbus; and brothers, Kevin Krohn of Iowa and Scott and his wife, Gina Krohn of Pierce. Lynette was preceded in death by her parents. Interment was in the Prospect View Cemetery, Pierce, NE.
