Description	:	Lynn E. Singrey, age 63, of Hazel, SD, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014, at the hospital in Watertown, SD. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 24, 2014, at Cornerstone United Methodist Church in Watertown. The family is requested to meet at the church on Friday by 10:00 a.m. for a prayer service. Rev. Roger Spahr will officiate. Read More	Lynn E. Singrey, age 63, of Hazel, SD, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2014, at the hospital in Watertown, SD. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 24, 2014, at Cornerstone United Methodist Church in Watertown. The family is requested to meet at the church on Friday by 10:00 a.m. for a prayer service. Rev. Roger Spahr will officiate. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Victory Boosters 4-H Club and the Hazel Volunteer Fire Department. Active pallbearers will be: Roger Smith, Duayne Singrey, Harold Singrey, James Stephenson, Wayne Stephenson and Gene St. Marie. Visitation will be at the Crawford Funeral Chapel in Watertown on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. and prior to services at the church on Friday. Lynn was born on December 14, 1950, in Watertown, SD, to Lyle and Lois (Fordyce) Singrey. He graduated from Hazel High School in 1969 and was a graduate of South Dakota State University in Brookings, SD, with a BS in Agriculture, in 1973. Following graduation, Lynn farmed with his dad. On November 10, 1979, Lynn married Doreen Stephenson in Watertown. He continued to farm with his family in the Hazel area. He was a member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church, where he was very active as an usher and with the Little Ark Sunday School. Lynn also served on the Mission board, making several trips including a couple with his son, Luke. He was a member of the Hazel Volunteer Fire Department and just received his 25-year pin as a 4-H leader. Lynn loved spending time with his family and grandchildren. He enjoyed volunteering for his church, within his community and the 4-H program. Lynn is survived by his wife, Doreen; his four children: Melissa (Rob) Wegehaupt of Aberdeen, Becky (Brian) Oberlander of Boise, ID, Natalie Singrey (Russ Hallman) of Watertown, and Luke (Amanda) Singrey of Hazel; three grandchildren: Mackenzie Wegehaupt, Bailey Singrey and April Singrey; two brothers: Kevin Singrey of Aberdeen and Marvin (Christine) Singrey of Hazel; and a family friend, Sharon Netzer of Aberdeen. He was preceded in death by his parents.
