Description	:	Catherine Ireland, formerly of Centreville, died Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Heartland House Assisted Living in Grasonville, MD, where she was lovingly cared for the last year of her life. She was 90 years old. Catherine was born near Centreville, MD on March 21, 1921. She was the daughter of David and Mary Middleton. Catherine enjoyed gardening with her husband, Wilton. Read More	Catherine Ireland, formerly of Centreville, died Thursday, November 10, 2011 at Heartland House Assisted Living in Grasonville, MD, where she was lovingly cared for the last year of her life. She was 90 years old. Catherine was born near Centreville, MD on March 21, 1921. She was the daughter of David and Mary Middleton. Catherine enjoyed gardening with her husband, Wilton. They offered their produce to the folks of Centreville for several years at their produce stand on Water St. She loved working with her hands doing sewing, knitting and crocheting, winning several ribbons for her work at the County Fair. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Miller and her second husband, Wilton Ireland; seven brothers, Bill, Jim, Nelson, Mills, Vernon, Charles, and Thomas; and five sisters, Reba, Phoebe, Melva, Viola, and Margaret. Mrs. Ireland is survived by her children, Donald Miller, his wfe, June and their great niece, Madison; Benjamin Miller, his wife, Betsy and their three daughters, Dawn, Suzanne and Suellen; Judy Miles, her husband, Jack and their daughter, Andie; four great granddaughters, Amanda, Jessica and Tori Massarelli and Krystal Ankerbrand; two great grandsons, Christopher and his wife, Mary and Stephen Harrison and a very special grandson-in-law, Scott Harrison. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 2:00 PM the Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, Centreville, MD where friends may call from 1 – 2. Burial will be at Chesterfield Cemetery, Centreville, MD. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Queen Anne's Inc., 255 Comet Drive, Centreville, MD 21617.
