She taught school in Cherokee county six years, part of this time at Center Star, northwest of Columbus. On April 21, 1915, she was united in marriage to Jim Jennings at Columbus. The couple had lived at Skidmore for the past 26 years. She was a member of the Cherokee Holiness church. Surviving are the husband of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Florena Scott of Scammon route one, her mother, Mrs. Myra Daron of Wichita; and three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Westervelt of Columbus, Mrs. Aletha Miller of Kansas City, Mo., and Mrs. Flossie Horsley of Wichita. ******************* Crawford County Tombstone Inscriptions Transcribed by William C.
