Description	:	Mabel Jeschke Mabel C. Jeschke was born December 16, 1906, the daughter of William and Ida Mohr Neubaum. She died at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, Sunday, July 31, 2005, at the age of ninety-eight. Mabel was born on a farm in Hanover Township, near Charter Oak. She received her education at St. Paul's Lutheran School near her home. She was baptized at St. Paul Lutheran Church, February 24, 1907. Read More	Mabel Jeschke Mabel C. Jeschke was born December 16, 1906, the daughter of William and Ida Mohr Neubaum. She died at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, Sunday, July 31, 2005, at the age of ninety-eight. Mabel was born on a farm in Hanover Township, near Charter Oak. She received her education at St. Paul's Lutheran School near her home. She was baptized at St. Paul Lutheran Church, February 24, 1907. She was confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Schleswig, March 25, 1923. After completing her education, she helped her family on the farm before she moved with her family to Schleswig where she met Gus Jeschke. The couple was united in marriage June 17, 1925 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hanover Township. The couple settled on her family's home farm and were blessed with the birth of one son. In her leisure time, Mabel enjoyed working around the farm, caring for her garden and the farm animals. It was her fondest dream to become a veterinarian. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hanover Township. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gustav in 1973, her son, Loren in 1991 and her brother, Edmon. Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Carl Jeschke and Mrs. Otto Jeschke and several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 3, 2005, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Hanover Township, Charter Oak, Iowa. Rev. Eugene Ernst officiated the service and graveside rites held at the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery. Shirley Stull provided the organ accompaniment for congregational hymns, "What A Friend We Have In Jesus", "How Great Thou Art" and "I'm But A Stranger Here". Those serving as pallbearers were Freddie Friedrichsen, Berdell Jeschke, Russel Riessen, Darlo Jeschke, Mark Spiegel, Jerry Stull and Korey Jeschke.
