She was united in marriage to Arthur Burge March 20, 1912 in Jewell county. She was a faithful, loving wife, a tender, kind untiring mother. She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, Arthur Burge, two sons and three daughters, Oscar Kenneth of Belleville, Kan., Everett Laurence of Burr Oak, Kan., Frances Irene Wyatt of Craig, Mo., Dorothy Ann Burkes of Courtland, Kan., and Evelyn Mae at home; also 12 grand children and four brothers, Bruce, Lewis and Carl Clark all of Western, Ore., and Leonard of Juniata, Neb., and three sisters, Ollie Burge and Dorothy Jessie at Lebanon, Ore., and Clarice Buss of Juniata. One brother preceded her in death. After a prayer service at Denny Funeral home, the funeral service will be at the First Methodist church at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon, Jan 20, Rev. John R. Bucknell officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery (sic). From an undated clipping.
