(Bill) Reister, and he preceded her in death on March 14, 2004. She was a lifelong resident of Franklin County, Indiana. Born December 25, 1922 in Whitewater Township, Franklin County, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Leland & Mary (Lake) Loper. On June 4, 1944, she was united in marriage to Ivan L. (Bill) Reister, and he preceded her in death on March 14, 2004. She was a lifelong resident of Franklin County, Indiana. She was retired, and had worked at the former Franklin Casket Co. and later at the Jay Garment Co. in Brookville. In her leisure time she enjoyed reading, and was an avid sports fan, with Indiana University Basketball and the Chicago Cubs being her favorite teams. Survivors include two daughters & sons-in-law, Rebecca & David Pelsor of Indianapolis, Indiana and Debra & Don Poling of Princeton, Indiana; two sons and daughters-in-law, John & Tari Reister of Liberty, Indiana and Garry & Deanna Reister of Brookville, Indiana; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; as well as one sister, Marylee Feller of Indianapolis, Indiana. Besides her parents and husband, Bill, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Reister. Family & friends may visit from 9:00 till 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville, Indiana. Wade Urban will officiate the Funeral Services on Thursday, April 5, 2012, 11:00 A.M., at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home with burial following in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice.
