Description	:	Mrs. Mabel Showers Curry, daughter of Albert and Amelia Wischmeyer Showers, died Sunday morning at 8:30 o'clock at her home north of the city, having been ill but a few days, suffering from impacted bowel. The deceased was born in Tipton county on a farm near Jackson station, on September 26, 1892. She was 29 years, 6 months and 28 days old at time of death. The deceased was a graduate of the Tipton high school, being a member of the class of 1911, and was well known in Tipton, being much admired by her many friends for her sweet disposition and her many fine traits of character. The deceased was born in Tipton county on a farm near Jackson station, on September 26, 1892. She was 29 years, 6 months and 28 days old at time of death. The deceased was a graduate of the Tipton high school, being a member of the class of 1911, and was well known in Tipton, being much admired by her many friends for her sweet disposition and her many fine traits of character. The deceased was the only surviving child in the Showers family, the other daughter. Mrs. Pickett dying in June, 1913, and the mother dying in January of the same year. The deceased was united in marriage to Leo Curry,sen of John Curry, on April 3, 1920. No children were born to them but when Mrs. Pickett died, the four year old daughter, Mabel, was taken into the Showers home and Mrs. Curry cared for her, giving the child all the attention a mother could bestow. Mrs. Curry was a member of the west Street Christian Church and the funeral services will be conducted at the church Tuesday afternoon. Burial will be at Tipton.
