She immigrated to the USA in 1898, when she was about 10 years old. Madeline's father, George, was born in Nebraska, though his parents were Bohemian (Czechoslovakian). He was a baker. The Bozdechs always lived in Omaha, Nebraska. In 1910, the US Census shows George, 25, head, baker Teresa, 24, wife, b. Czechoslovakia Mari Vogltance, 17, boarder, b. Czechoslovakia, labeler at a cracker manufacturing company in 1930, the US Census shows George, 44, head, baker for bakery Teresa, 44, wife Elmer, 17, son Madeline 13, dau Marcella 10, dau George died in 1944, at the age of 59. Teresa continued to live in Omaha. In 1949, she was living at 610 Hickory Street, and listed in the City Directory as the widow of George. Madeline M.
