Description	:	Madline Thrasher, age 85, of the Illinois Veteran’s Home in Quincy, IL, formerly of Shelbyville, MO, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 10:55 pm. She was born January 15, 1930, the daughter of the late Eugene and Jewell Wilcox Gibson, of Bethel, MO. On October 2, 1948, she was united in marriage to Clifford “Mick” Thrasher. He preceded her in death on January 25, 2011. She was born January 15, 1930, the daughter of the late Eugene and Jewell Wilcox Gibson, of Bethel, MO. On October 2, 1948, she was united in marriage to Clifford “Mick” Thrasher. He preceded her in death on January 25, 2011. She is survived by one son of Shelbyville, MO; a stepdaughter and stepson of Rock Island, IL, a brother of Shelbyville, MO, two grandchildren of Quincy, IL and Phoenix, AZ, two step-grandchildren of Virginia, and Rock Island, IL, four great-grandchildren, three step great-grandchildren. Madline was a homemaker, and a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church in Bethel, MO. She graduated from Bethel High School in 1947 and enjoyed playing the piano, spending time with family and friends and was especially proud of her grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at the Bethel United Methodist Church with visitation preceding the service at 9:30 am. Burial will be in the Bethany Cemetery in Shelbyville, MO. Memorials can be made to the Bethel United Methodist Church
