Description	:	Mae A. (Clark) DeBord, age 92, of Williamsport, IN, formerly of West Lebanon, IN, died on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Mae was born on February 12, 1925 in Harvey, IL to Orval G. and Nellie M. Clark. Educated in both Illinois and Indiana schools, she graduated in Indiana and later studied art at the University of Illinois. On March 29, 1942, she married Kenneth Wendell DeBord in Williamsport, IN. (Clark) DeBord, age 92, of Williamsport, IN, formerly of West Lebanon, IN, died on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Mae was born on February 12, 1925 in Harvey, IL to Orval G. and Nellie M. Clark. Educated in both Illinois and Indiana schools, she graduated in Indiana and later studied art at the University of Illinois. On March 29, 1942, she married Kenneth Wendell DeBord in Williamsport, IN. Mae worked for 19 years at the Citizens State Bank in Williamsport, retiring in 1986. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in West Lebanon where she served as an elder and taught Sunday School and Youth Groups. She was a Girl Scout Leader, 4H Leader, Worthy Matron of OES Chapter #162 West Lebanon, Deputy of District 16 and Grand Ruth of the Indiana Grand Chapter. She served for 12 years on the Pike Township West Lebanon Library Board. Mae was an avid reader, talented artist and seasoned cook. She loved to travel and experience the art and food of her destinations. She volunteered her time often. Her lasting legacy will be the strong relationships she had with her friends and family. Mae was very special to her grandchildren, who will always remember her famous MAD Dash Easter Egg Hunts, birthday trips to Las Vegas, and her extraordinary heart. Mae is survived by her son; daughter; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years; sisters, Joy Gooden and Helen Cunningham; and daughter-in-law, Jean DeBord.
