Sons are Maynard of Sacramento, California; Bernard of Bolingbrook, Illinois and Delwyn of Warren, Michigan. Mrs. Whitehead is also survived by a brother, Ernest Rundquist of Alameda California and sisters, Hilma Johnson of Minden, Nebraska and Esther Jurgens of Minden, Nebraska. She was the loving grandmother to 32 grandchildren and a friend to many. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church at Nelson, Church Circle and the V.F.W. Auxiliary, was a resident of Nelson for 34 years. She gave many hours to the Blood Mobile, The Heart Fund and Cub Scouts. Funeral services were held Saturday, June 27, 1970 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Presbyterian Church at Nelson, Nebraska. Rev. Moicelio Cruz and Rev. Victor Schwarz officiated. Casket bearers were Roger Corman, Mike Corman, Douglas Corman, Kenneth Osowski, Howard Olson & Richard Wroughton. Interment was in the Minden Cemetery, Minden, Nebraska.
