Petersen, 69 of Beckner Road, Sunnyside, Wash. passed away at the Sunnyside Memorial Hospital early Wednesday, Nov. 12 following an extended illness. She was born at Central City, Nebr., where she spent her early years. On November 14, 1910 Miss Mae B. Gee and Lawritz V. Petersen were united in marriage at Palmer, Nebr. Petersen, 69 of Beckner Road, Sunnyside, Wash. passed away at the Sunnyside Memorial Hospital early Wednesday, Nov. 12 following an extended illness. She was born at Central City, Nebr., where she spent her early years. On November 14, 1910 Miss Mae B. Gee and Lawritz V. Petersen were united in marriage at Palmer, Nebr. They lived at David City before moving to Bloomfield, Nebr., where Mr. Petersen was engaged in electrical work. Later they moved to Winner, S. D., where Mrs. Petersen owned and operated a Ladies' Ready to wear shop. They also lived at Portland and St. Paul, Minn, before moving to Yakima, Wash., where they live for several years, before moving to Sunnyside six years ago. Mrs. Petersen was a past member of the Eastern Star, a past president of the Federated Women of America and was an active member of the First Methodist Church prior to her illness. She is survived by her husband, L. V. Petersen, Sunnyside; five sisters, Mrs. Lester Kendall, Sunnyside, Mrs. Joe Lytle, Wasta, S. D., Mrs. Bill Eggers of Prescott, Wisc., Mrs. Bill Minder, Ellensburg, Wash., and Mrs. Furman Carson, Fullerton, Nebr. Four brothers: Alfred Gee of Sunnyside; Melvin Gee, Yakima; Ralph Gee, Fortana, Calif., and Wyvil Gee, Dallas, Texas.
