She was a lifelong resident of the Eldon area. She was born April 5, 1891, near Eldon, the daughter of William and Isophene Miller Long. She was married to Lon Shoemaker who died in 1970. Mrs. Shoemaker was a member of the Rock Enon Baptist Church near Russellville. Survivors include: Four daughters, Mrs. Mabel Morris, Russellville, Mrs. Eunice Jobe, Kansas City, Mrs. Ollie Nichols, Eldon, Mrs. Nadine Green, Great Falls, Mont.; ten grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
