Description : Mrs. Isephene Long, one of the last two surviving daughters of the late Pinkney S. Miller, the first white child born in Miller County, and a lifetime resident of Olean and Enon communities, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. K.A. Carney, near Russellville Friday, following a lingering illness.

Mrs. Long's husband, William Long, died about 35 years ago. She is survived by seven children, Walter Long, Latham; John Long, Eldon; Mrs. Walter Blackburn, Decatur, Ill.; Mrs. Henry Wiser, Enon; Mrs. Carney, Willard Long, Fulton; Mrs. Mary Shumaker, Eldon. One sister, Mrs. Lou A. Starling, resides in Olean.
