Description	:	Magnolia "Nola" Henderson, 87, of Bremerton and a former resident of Leavenworth and Wenatchee, died Saturday evening, Oct. 7, 2000, in the Bremerton Convalescent and Rehab Center. She was born Magnolia Housley on Nov. 11, 1912, to Robert and Dovie (Bolton) Housley at Habersham, TN. She was born Magnolia Housley on Nov. 11, 1912, to Robert and Dovie (Bolton) Housley at Habersham, TN. In 1925, the family moved to Leavenworth, where Nola grew up and received her education, graduating from Leavenworth High School in 1931. On May 9, 1932, she married Marvin T. Henderson in Leavenworth, where they made their home and raised their family. For many years, Nola worked as a packer in the fruit warehouse. In 1972, they moved to Wenatchee and in 1997, she moved to Bremerton to be near her son. She was a member of the Leavenworth Assembly of God Church and for many years taught Sunday School. She was a member of the Wenatchee First Assembly of God Church and the Navy Mothers in Leavenworth. Nola is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Don and Elaine Henderson of Bremerton; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon Henderson-Ellis and Fred Ellis of Brookline, MA; two grandsons, Stephen Henderson of Osaka, Japan and Jeffrey Henderson-Ellis of Brookline, MA; one great-granddaughter, Mei Henderson of Osaka, Japan; one sister, Jean Cottman of Leavenworth. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband in 1987, one brother, Harold Douglas and two sisters, Naomi Douglas and Beatrice Herald. A Service of Commemoration for Magnolia "Nola" Henderson, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday afternoon, Oct. 12, 2000, in the Ward's Funeral Chapel. Concluding services and interment will follow in the Mt. View Cemetery. Memorials may be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association, 12721 30th Ave. N.E., Suite 101, Seattle, WA 98125. Ward's Funeral Chapel, Leavenworth, is in charge of the arrangements.
