She was married to Frank E. Peterson December 28, 1898. Mrs. Peterson made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Lucille Barkmeier, and family in Exeter the past two years after having lived for many years in Fairmont, where Mr. Peterson passed away April 15, 1940. Read More	Mame Olive DeBoer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John DeBoer, was born at Cornell, Ill., July 26, 1875, and came to this section with her parents at the age of eighteen. She was married to Frank E. Peterson December 28, 1898. Mrs. Peterson made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Lucille Barkmeier, and family in Exeter the past two years after having lived for many years in Fairmont, where Mr. Peterson passed away April 15, 1940. She had been in her usual health, when she was stricken suddenly and passed away Sunday evening about 5:30. Her life was characterized by quiet devotion to her home, her children and grandchildren, yet she gained a large number of acquaintances, who because of her graciousness and splendid evidence of fine character, reflected i her family, became warm friends and admirers. All of these were greatly shocked by her sudden passing and share the family's grief. Survivors include two daughters; Mrs. Gladys Murrell of Fairmont and Mrs. Lucille Barkmeier of Exeter; one son, Wayne C. Peterson of Lincoln; and four grandchildren, Cpl Lester Murrell of the Marines, now stationed in Texas; cpl. Derald Murrell with the Army in Belgium, and Barbara and Suzanne Barkmeier of Exeter; three sisters, Mrs. Ida Goodsell of North Platte, Mrs. Edna Drier of York and Mrs. Jennie McCashland of Fairmont; and one brother, Ellsworth DeBoer of Lincoln. One daughter, Irene, preceded her mother in death. Prayer services were held at the Farmer funeral home in Exeter Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, followed by the funeral at the Methodist Church in Fairmont, conducted by the pastor, Rev. L. A.
