Description	:	Leith, N.D. --- Marcella Schock, 63, of rural Leith died of natural causes Friday, Jan. 11, 2002, at her home. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Elgin, N.D. The Rev. Tom Hallowell and the Rev. John Osborne will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home in Elgin in charge of arrangements. Read More	Leith, N.D. --- Marcella Schock, 63, of rural Leith died of natural causes Friday, Jan. 11, 2002, at her home. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Elgin, N.D. The Rev. Tom Hallowell and the Rev. John Osborne will officiate. Marcella Feickert was born Jan. 4, 1939, to Edwin and Lydia (Dockter) Feickert on a farm near Leola. She attended a rural school and later attended nursing school at Wahpeton, N.D. She then went to a post-graduate nursing school in Pierre, studying obstetrics and surgery. She married Eldon Schock on Nov. 7, 1959, in Elgin. They farmed and ranched near Leith. She was a licensed practical nurse for 42 years. She was recently awarded for 25 years of service at Jacobson Memorial Hospital in Elgin. She also carried rural mail for 18 years in the rural Carson, N.D., area. She enjoyed preparing authentic German food, crocheting and listening to old-time country music. She was known for her compassion. Survivors include her husband of rural Leith; three sons, Gregory Schock and Ryan (Michelle) Schock, both of Leith, and Eldon (Valerie) Schock Jr. of Mandan; two daughters, LaRue (Mark) Klein and LaVerne (Terry) Sandau, both of Mandan, N.D.; one sister, Lavina Hopf of Aberdeen; and eight grandchildren.
