Description	:	Funeral services were held for Marcella H. Vance, 77, Cooperstown, June 3, at Grace Lutheran Church, Cooperstown. Interment was at the McHenry Cemetery, at McHenry. She died May 31, 1999, at the Griggs County Nursing Home, Cooperstown, where she had been a resident for a short time. Marcella H. Ehlers was born August 18, 1921, in McHenry, the daughter of Andrew and Sena (Leean) Ehlers. She grew up in the McHenry area and graduated from McHenry High School. Ehlers was born August 18, 1921, in McHenry, the daughter of Andrew and Sena (Leean) Ehlers. She grew up in the McHenry area and graduated from McHenry High School. She married Elmer (Russ) Vance June 6, 1941, in Carrington. The couple made their home in Cooperstown. In 1963 they moved to California and then back to Cooperstown in 1975. They moved to Florida in 1981 and returned to Cooperstown in 1988. Elmer died July 23, 1994. Marcella continued to make her home in Cooperstown. She is survived by: two daughters, Nikki (Bill) Rahlf of Sutton, and Rochelle Dionne of Savage, MN; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
