Description	:	Marcella Jean Hogrefe, 91, of Napoleon, Ohio passed away peacefully on Monday, September 4, 2017 at Genacross Lutheran Services the Napoleon Campus. She was born on September 7, 1925 in Napoleon, Ohio to the late Charles and Golda (Stembel) Hoffman. On September 16, 1945 she married Raymond Hogrefe in Freedom Township and he preceded her in death on February 24, 2002. Marcella worked for the United Telephone of Napoleon, Ohio as a telephone operator for 13 years. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Napoleon. She was born on September 7, 1925 in Napoleon, Ohio to the late Charles and Golda (Stembel) Hoffman. She also belonged to the Napoleon Legion Auxiliary Post #300. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and making afghans for her family. She is survived by her sons, Ronald (Cheryl) Hogrefe of Lakeland, Florida and Richard "Rick" (Linda) Hogrefe of Napoleon, Ohio; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; . She was preceded in death by a grandson, Richard L. Hogrefe and her brothers, Franklin "Huffy" Hoffman, and Clair Hoffman and sisters, Margaret Thomas and Shirley Winsman. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Napoleon, Ohio. Interment will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Napoleon, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 12-2 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Napoleon, Ohio. Memorials are suggested to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
