Description	:	Obituary Marcella "Sally" June Malone, 80, of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2010, at the Alverno Health Care Facility. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Lemke Funeral Home – South Chapel at noon with Pastor Fred Schauer officiating. Visitation will be from 10 to noon before the funeral. Burial will be at the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will John Lawrence, Merle Lawrence, Merle Lawrence Jr., Donald (Butch) McNeal, Charles Heggin, and Phil Lemke. Sally married Robert E. Malone on July 9, 1947, in Albia, Iowa. Sally worked for A.C. Nielsen, retiring from Dun & Bradstreet in 1982. She then worked for Mercy and Samaritan Home Care. Sally was a girlscout leader for Troop 157 for 16 years. She was a member of Chancy Lutheran Church, enjoyed crafting and loved her grandchildren. Sally was a past president of the Lupus Foundation. Sally is survived by her daughter, Suzy Jacobsen, Clinton,; 1 son, Larry Malone, Clinton; 1 granddaughter, Angela (Charles) Haggin, Moline, IL; 2 step-granddaughters, Rachel Knight and Malika Malone, Moline, IL; 1 great-grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren; 7 sisters, Patricia Leach, Ottumwa, IA; Judy McNeal, Ottumwa, IA; Grace Hansen, Houston, TX; Jay Marrow, Louisiana; Belma Reno, Wisconsin; Debbie Gray, Rochelle, IL; Renee McNeal, California; 3 brothers, Clifford (Bonnie) McNeal, Ottumwa, IA; Don (Nancy) McNeal, Sigourney, IA; and Mick McNeal, Clinton. 2 god daughters; Kerry Leahy, and Cheryl Harmon. Sally is preceded in death by her parents, husband, loving grandson, Shaun Michael Jacobsen, son-in-law, John A Jacobsen, great granddaughter, Karly Kay Malone, 2 sisters, Carolyn Legel, Diane Pettyjohn, 3 brothers, David McNeal, James McNeal and Danny McNeal.
