A short service was held in the home at 2 o'clock, where scripture reading and prayer was given by the Rev. F.O. Abraham. A vocal duet, "There's No Disappointment in Heaven" was sung by Misses Ruth and Esther Abraham. At 2:30 o'clock, services were held in the Mission church. Two songs, "In the Upper Garden," and "I Belong to the King," were sung by the Misses Abraham and Misses Helen and Alice Anderson sang "In the Garden." The accompaniments were played by Mrs. LeRoy Johnson. The Rev. Mr. Abraham used as his text Solomon 6:2, "My beloved is gone down into his garden, to the beds of spices, to feed in the garden and to gather lillies." The flowers sent to express the sympathy of relatives and friends were arranged by Misses Hannah Magnuson and Evelyn Anderson. The flower girls were Deloris Burkey, Peggy Stolte and Mildred Lotberg. Those serving as casket bearers were Misses Ruby Bass, Francis Bass, Marie Royster and Frances Bass. Marcella Lorraine Bass was born July 1, 1933. This little bud, not having a chance to unfold, was taken away by death Sept. 1, at the age of 2 years, 1 month, 24 days. She had been sick about two months with pneumonia, improving at times and then becoming worse until the end came. She leaves to mourn hear death, her father and mother, two sisters, Lois and Annabelle, and one brother, Sidney. Left also to mourn are her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. S.D. Bass and her grandfather, Carl Waller, other relatives and a host of friends. She was a very loving child and was beloved by all who knew her.
