Marcella Marion Larson Hirchert was born on December 21, 1917, in Harvey, North Dakota and grew up on a Wells County farm 10 miles north of where she and Leonard farmed for 30 years. Marcella Marion Larson Hirchert was born on December 21, 1917, in Harvey, North Dakota and grew up on a Wells County farm 10 miles north of where she and Leonard farmed for 30 years. Her parents were Lemuel Javine Larson, was 26, and her mother, Rosalie Viola “Rose” Bovia Larson, and was 24. She was educated in Wells County schools. As a young woman she worked as a housekeeper for various families in the Bowdon, Chaseley and Hurdsfield areas. She had one daughter with Leonard Lloyd Hirchert, Gloria Joy Hirchert, on July 23, 1947 who married Milton John Miller on June 18th, 1965. Marcella assisted the Millers who started operating the farm after Leonard passed on November 15, 1974. Marcella was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church in Robinson, the Harvey Eagles Club Auxiliary, and the Fessenden First International Bank Heritage Club. Some of her favorite hobbies were bowling and playing bingo. Marcella leaves behind her daughter, Gloria (Mrs. Milton Miller) of rural Chaseley, 4 grandchildren... Richard, Rhonda, Jeannine and Brian, 3 great-grandchildren...Casey, Shantel and Brandon, her sister Rachel Brakel Jorgensen of Hurdsfield, and 2 brothers.. Ellsworth Larson of Tuttle, ND and Burl Larson of Lewiston, MN. May God bless her memory. Brothers: Burl Donald Larson was born on November 29, 1919, married Jean A Brown Larson on June 30, 1947 Ellsworth Evan Larson was born on July 3, 1914 and married Mildred F Dehne Larson on 27 Nov 1940 Sister: Rachel Laurel Larson (Hyna ) Brakel (Nels) Jorgensen was born on July 22, 1922 on the family farm, and on October 30, 1947 Rachel was married to Hyna Brakel in Fessenden, ND, and then later after Hyna passed she married Nels M.T. Jorgensen November 15, 1984 in Harvey, ND..
