Lutters, 87, died Feb. 1, 2010, at the Grisell Memorial Hospital, Ransom. She was born on Jan. 16, 1923, to Joseph P. and Matilda Elizabeth Young Kraus, the youngest of 11 children. On July 31, 1945, she married Joseph F. Lutters at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Ransom. She was a devoted wife, mother of 13, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She was a member of the St. Aloysius Church and Altar Society and the Daughters of Isabella. She was very devoted to the church and her Christian faith. Survivors include: five sons, Joe E. Lutters, Ed Lutters, Jim Lutters, Bill Lutters and Richard Lutters; seven daughters, Mary Funk, Carol, Jeanette Hornung, Geraldine Offutt, Barbara Summers, Kathy Sunley and Debbie Wantland; 29 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband on March 4, 1980, an infant daughter, Cecilia, September 1961, eight brothers, Albert, Early, Ralph, Leo, Norbert, Hugo, Florian, Cyril, and two sisters, Lena Hilmes and Josephine Ketzner. A parish vigil and rosary will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Aloysius Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Aloysius Church, Ransom, with Fathers Bill Kraus, David Kraus and Henry Hildebrandt presiding. Burial will be in the St. Aloysius Cemetery, Ransom. Memorial contributions to St. Aloysius Altar Society, Grisell Memorial Hospital and Rhode Island Suites. (From Hutchnews.)
