A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 30, at Fair Funeral Home Chapel, with a private burial at Danview cemetery at a later date. Mrs. Light was born July 12, 1929, in Rockingham County, N.C., to the late John Early Saunders and Bettie Bowers Saunders. She was a member of King Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents.
