Description	:	Marchie E. Aldrich Buell, 80, of Augusta, a former school bus driver and justice of the peace, died of natural causes Tuesday in a Choteau hospital. Her funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the Augusta Community Church. Memorial are preferred to the Augusta Ambulance Service. She was born Dec. 11, 1909, in Augusta and graduated Augusta High School in 1928. She married Albert Buell on June 4, 1928, in Great Falls and the couple lived in Augusta. After her husband's death in 1960, she drove an Augusta school bus for 10 years. In the early 1960's she was appointed justice of the peace in Augusta, a post she held for 10 years. While serving as justice of the peace, she was elected secretary-treasurer of the Montana Magistrates Association for three years and attended the Law Enforcement Academy in Bozeman. She was a charter member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Augusta and was past unit president and past district president. She also was a hostess at the Augusta Senior Center. Survivors include a daughter, Marchie Lou Marcotte of Great Falls, sons, Raymond A. of Helena, Leonard K. "Bud" of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Clyde A. of Butte, and Arthur L. of Lenexa, Kansas; nine great-grandchildren. A great-grandson preceded her in death.
