Description	:	HOPE -- Marcie L. Plaice, 31, Hope, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 1999, at a Wichita hospital from injuries she suffered in a one vehicle accident. Mrs. Plaice was a supervisor for the Candlewood Suites Hotel in Salina. She also had owned and operated Marcie's Place Daycare in Hope. She was born Aug. 20, 1968, in Herington, the daughter of Carl Wilbur and Muriel Ayres Ihde. Mrs. Plaice was a member of St. John Lutheran Church at Lyon Creek. She married Ralph H. Other survivors include two sons, Kyle Robert Plaice and Jordan Michael Plaice, both at home; her parents, Carl "C.W." and Muriel Ihde, Herington; two brothers, Michael Ihde, Missoula, Mont., and Mark Ihde, Kansas City, Mo.; and grandparents, Laura Ayres, Herington, and Pearl Frank, Colorado Springs, Colo. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church at Lyon Creek. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Herington. Relatives and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the Donahue Funeral Home in Herington. Memorial contributions may be made to the Plaice Scholarship Fund for Kyle and Jordan, and sent in care of the First National Bank at Hope, or to the Lutheran Hour, and sent in care of the funeral home.
