Description	:	MUSCATINE, Iowa -- Margaret Ann Ziegenhorn, 70, of Muscatine, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2001, at her home. Services are 2 p.m. Friday at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. The Rev. Don Swanson will officiate. Betty Lincoln will be the organist. Pallbearers are Alan Ricketts, Leo Herlein, Edward Hogan, Bob Phillips, Jerry Lange and Seth Mathias. Mrs. Ziegenhorn was born on Sept. 10, 1931, in Muscatine, the daughter of William and Blanche Reynolds Butts. Her grandmother, Alice Reynolds, later adopted her after her mother's death. She married Ernest R. Ziegenhorn on Dec. 1, 1950, at Walnut Street Baptist Church. She was a secretary for Homonize, now HON, for four years. She was an excellent seamstress and made drapes for Marie Lindsay for five years. She worked for the Muscatine Community School system 1972-1996 as a secretary and was responsible for scheduling substitute teachers. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Hospital Auxiliary and several card clubs, including bridge clubs. She enjoyed walking, biking, golfing, flower gardening and handiwork, such as embroidery. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Lori Ziegenhorn and partner Murray Bouschlicher of Iowa City and Lisa Mathis and her husband, Mike, of Muscatine; three grandchildren, Kasey Mathis of Cedar Rapids and Seth and Lane Mathis, both of Muscatine; a sister, Norma Wiese of Durant; six sisters-in-law, Erma Fowler of Muscatine, Evelyn Metcalfe of Bettendorf, Marjorie Sloat of Muscatine, Mary Ricketts and her husband, Harlo, of Illinois City, Ill., Betty Whitney and her husband, A.J., of Muscatine and Betty Ziegenhorn of Aledo, Ill.; and a brother-in-law, Howard Ziegenhorn and his wife, Mildred, of Lakeland, Fla. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Billie Butts and Joe Reynolds; two sisters, Alice Duncan and Fay Duncan; four brothers-in-law, Melvin Ziegenhorn, Kenneth Fowler, James Metcalfe and Eddie Sloat.
