She was born in Waverly, S.D. on July 14, 1915, the oldest of 10 children born to Amy (Barker) and Frank Ginsbach. Read More	The bulk of this information was provided by LDavenport - (SFW, Apr. 2011) Margaret Anna Davis, 91, Belle Fourche passed away Friday, Jan. 5, 2007 at the Belle Fourche Regional Senior Care. She was born in Waverly, S.D. on July 14, 1915, the oldest of 10 children born to Amy (Barker) and Frank Ginsbach. During her early years, the family ranched near Redig and also operated a local grocery store. On Sept. 2, 1933 she married Roy Davis in Newell. The couple resided in Belle Fourche for over 57 years. Roy worked 38 years at the U and I Sugar Company from a time early in their marriage. Margaret worked a short time at the Grandview Locker Plant cutting and wrapping meat. The couple eventually purchased and operated the Norge Village Laundry with the help of their two sons, Vernon and Ken (LeRoy). Margaret and Roy were members of St. Paul's Catholic Church. They enjoyed time spent in church activities, bingo, dinners and especially dances. Both were avid spectators at the Belle Fourche Roundup and supporters of the Johnny Spaulding Cabin Museum which was built by Roy's Uncle John and grandparents, Thomas and Lucinda (Spaulding) Davis. Margaret spent many summer afternoons at the museum as a volunteer, where she enjoyed wearing the gingham-checked prairie dress and visiting with tourists about the history of the cabin and the Belle Fourche area in general. Margaret was also active in the Senior Citizens Center where she helped with many events and thoroughly enjoyed her time spent with friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Roy Davis, brother, Joseph Ginsbach and sister, Lois Mullendorff. Survivors include her sons,William Vernon Davis of Beulah, Wyo. and Kenneth LeRoy Davis of Rapid City; five grandchildren, Debbie (Roger) Powell of Arlington, VA., Nancy Jean Parham of San Luis Obispo, Calif., William Vernon Davis of Nuevo, Calif., Pamela Davis of Rapid City and Gregg Davis of Adell, Wis. and six great-grandchildren; four brothers, John Ginsbach of LaQuinta, Calif., Edward Ginsbach of Sun City, Calif., Lyle Ginsbach of Sisseton, S.D. and Raymond Ginsbach of Spearfish; three sisters, Francis Gordon of Gillette, Wyo., Lucille Butler of Florence, Ore. and Betty Conniff of Marco, Fla. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Belle Fourche with Father Tim Hoag officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Slope Cemetery in Belle Fourche. Arrangements are under the direction of Kline Funeral Chapel in Belle Fourche. Black Hills Pioneer January 10, 2007
