Kennedy of Ottawa who died on Tuesday after an illness of about a year. She was 68 years of age. Mrs Kennedy was a native of Lanark, and belonged to one of the old families of the county. The remains were brought to Almonte this morning. 1926, Thursday April 26, The Ottawa Journal page 2 Funeral of Mrs Kennedy A large circle of friends, many of them members of Stewarton United Church, where she worshipped for many years, was present at the funeral service of Mrs Margaret Kennedy, 203 James street, held last night at the home at eight o'clock. Mrs Kennedy died on Tuesday at the age of 68 years, and after a residence in Ottawa of 23 years, during which times she made many friends who paid a silent tribute to her memory by their presence at the service, which was conducted by Rev F.S. Milliken, of Stewarton Church. Many floral tributes were received by the family. The remains are being taken by train this morning to Almonte, where interment will be made upon arrival, in Almonte Cemetery
