Read More	Margaret Bealle Loveless May 7, 1926 – July 24, 2015 Margaret Bealle Loveless (age 89) Margaret Bealle Loveless died July 24, 2015, at age 89. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ernest A. Loveless, Jr., former Chief Judge of the Seventh Judicial Circuit of Maryland. The first of seven children, Margaret was born May 7, 1926, to Charles and Ethel Bealle of Waldorf. She attended Waldorf School, was Salutatorian of her graduating class at LaPlata High School, and attended Prince George's Community College. She is survived by four children: Barbara Anne Loveless Holtz (Larry); Roni Loveless Brandt Simpkins (Winfred); Michael Kershaw Loveless (Kim); and Patrick Henry Loveless (Tonya). She also leaves 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, and is survived by four siblings: Dorothy Brown; Edna McMichen; William Bealle; and John Bealle. In the 1940s, Margaret was employed by the Federal Department of Agriculture in Washington and New York. She later served four years as Acting Post Master in Clinton, Md., and managed several rental properties. She was very active in civic and church activities including serving as the first president of the Surratt Society, member of the Clinton Lady Lions, Grand Regent of the Catholic Daughters of America Court Saint John, and member of the Sodality and Building Committee of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Raised as a farm girl, her love of the outdoors continued throughout her life. She thoroughly enjoyed gardening and yard work and considered an afternoon raking or mowing the lawn therapeutic. She was also a great practical joker, handing out a bevy of “gag” gifts every Christmas, and enjoyed playing cards, especially poker, with other ladies of Clinton. Friends may call at Huntt Funeral Home, 3035 Old Washington Rd., Waldorf, Md., on Monday, August 3rd, from 2:00-4:00 or 6:00-8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 8908 Old Branch Avenue, Clinton, Md., on Tuesday, August 4th, at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association National Capital Area Chapter, 3701 Pender Dr., Suite 400, Fairfax, Va., 22030.
