Description	:	Margaret Bess Jensen, of Albion, NE., passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at the Mid-Nebraska Lutheran Home in Newman Grove, NE. Margaret, daughter of George Paul and Elsie (Merrell) Willard was born September 9, 1915 near Boone, NE. Margaret was raised on a farm in Boone County and was the oldest of four children. She attended Elementary school at Boone County District #10 near St. Edward and also at District #74 south of Albion. Read More	Margaret Bess Jensen, of Albion, NE., passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at the Mid-Nebraska Lutheran Home in Newman Grove, NE. Margaret, daughter of George Paul and Elsie (Merrell) Willard was born September 9, 1915 near Boone, NE. Margaret was raised on a farm in Boone County and was the oldest of four children. She attended Elementary school at Boone County District #10 near St. Edward and also at District #74 south of Albion. She graduated from Albion High School in 1934 and then took some extension courses in Business. Margaret was united in marriage to Arno Milo Jensen on December 30, 1942 at Columbus, Nebraska. While Arno was in the service, Margaret went with him and they lived at several different camps. After returning home, they moved west of St. Edward, then northeast of St. Edward on Roy Cumming's farm. Later they moved into St. Edward until 1948, when they moved to the George P. Willard farm, south of Albion. In the spring of 1966 they moved into Albion. Margaret worked at various offices in the Boone County Courthouse and at the ASCS Office. Arno passed away on January 9, 2002. Margaret moved to the Mid-Nebraska Lutheran Home at Newman Grove in June 2008. Margaret was a member of the CWW Extension Club, HUB Club and was a 4-H Club Assistant Leader. Her many hobbies were sewing, embroidery, and listening to all kinds of music. She also enjoyed playing Pitch and Pinochle. Margaret is survived by: daughters: Alice (Jerry) Dawson of Hyannis, NE; Anita Baer and special friend Rick Spoerl of Ashland, NE; and Mary Derby of Albion, NE; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; brother: Merrell Willard of Littleton, CO; sister: Ruth Draeger of Fargo, ND; sister-in-law: Dolores Willard of Albion, NE and a host of relatives and friends. Margaret was preceded in death by: parents, her husband Arno Jensen, and brother George H. Willard. Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery, St. Edward, NE.
