Read More	2 May 1902 Chico Enterprise, Page 2 AT AN OLD AGE, Mrs. Margaret Cole Passed Away This Morning At 10:30 o'clock this morning Mrs. Margaret Cole breathed her last at the residence of Dr. W. W. Head and wife on Broadway, between Fif th and Sixth streets. Deceased was a native of Hudson, Columbia county, New York, where she was born on March 27, 1813. In 1842 she married to Henry Cole, and several years later came to California. Mr. Cole died about 18 years ago. Deceased had been in feeble health for several years, and death comes to her as a release from suffering. She leaves five children. They are Mrs. W. W. Head, George, Peter and James Cole of Butte county, and Lory Brazee of Michigan. The funeral will take place on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence of Dr. Head. Same paper, two columns over: Funeral of Mrs. Cole The funeral of Mrs. Margaret Cole took place this afternoon, services being held at 2 o'clock at the residence of Dr. W. W. Head and wife on Broadway between Fifth and Sixth streets. Rev Welch of the M.l E. Church, conducted the services and a select choir rendered appropriate hymns. A long line of carriages followed the remains to the city cemetery, where the interment took place. The pall bearers were J. H. Behme, H. Hallett, J. W. Sawyers, J. D. March, F. W. Miller and R. Huntington.
