She was a housewife and worked some years ago at the treasurer's office at the courthouse. She was a housewife and worked some years ago at the treasurer's office at the courthouse. Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by a son, Monte, Denver, Colo., and two grandchildren; four brothers, Glenn J., Ralph and Alvin, of Hoisington, and Delmar of Wichita; and a sister, Eunice Basye, Hoisington. She was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church and the VFW auxiliary. Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. today at St. John Lutheran Church, Rev. James Strasen, officiating, with burial in the Hoisington Cemetery. Pohlman's Mortuary was in charge of arrangements. A memorial is to the American Cancer Society. Obituary provided by Connie.
