Description	:	CENTRAL CITY — Margaret E. Dubas, 87, of Central City died Tuesday, March 11, 2014, at Central City Care Center in Central City. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Clarks, with the Rev. Dick Whiteing officiating. Wagner Funeral Home in Central City is assisting the family with the arrangements. Mrs. Dubas was born July 9, 1926, in rural Marquette to Andrew and Marie (Johannsen) Andersen. Wagner Funeral Home in Central City is assisting the family with the arrangements. Mrs. Dubas was born July 9, 1926, in rural Marquette to Andrew and Marie (Johannsen) Andersen. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Dubas. Survivors left to cherish her memory include a son, Andy Dubas of Central City; three daughters and sons-in-law, Anna and Robert Bialas of Grand Island, Margaret and Patrick Vigil of Commerce City, Colo., and Teresa and Phil Pisasale of Omaha; and a sister, Agnes Huston of Murdock. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Benjamin Bialas of Houston, Texas, Bryan Bialas of Lincoln, Victoria Bialas of Omaha, Joseph Vigil of Commerce City, Colo., and Cara, Thomas and Gina Pisasale all of Omaha. She grew up in the Marquette area and attended school there, graduating from Marquette High School. She was united in marriage to Bernard F. Dubas on June 21, 1958, at St. Mary's in Aurora. The couple lived north of Central City on the family farm. Margaret was a nurse's aid at the Fullerton Hospital. Margaret was baptized at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Marquette, Kronborg. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church in Clarks and then St. Michael's Catholic Church in Central City. She served on the altar society at St. Peter's Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing and making quilts and helping Bernard on the farm. She loved being a nurse's aid and helping people. She was also preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Ellen Friesen, Magda Friesen and Viola Krocker.
