Read More	Stough, Margaret E. 1882-1966 (February 28,1966) ---- Stough, Margaret Crum Mar. 3, 1882 ~~ Feb. 28, 1966 ---- Mrs. Margaret Stough, 83, died at Methodist Manor in Storm Lake Monday morning, February 28 at 6:40 a. m. after a long illness. Mrs. Stough was born in Harrisburg, Pa., March 3, 1882 and came to Ida County with her parents Mr. and Mrs. D. O. Crum as a little girl. She attended rural schools, then Ida Grove High School, graduating with the class of 1903. After graduation she taught rural school for three years. She was united in marriage to Fred Stough, March 25, 1908. To this union two sons were born, James and Kenneth. The latter passed away March 25, 1928 at the age of 16 years. She and Fred made their home in Ida Grove until four years ago when they went to the Manor in Storm Lake. He died May 26, 1963. Mrs. Stough was a long time member of the Winebrenner Church of God in Ida Grove and took an active part in all its departments, taught Sunday School for over 50 years. She was always active in the Ladies Aid, Missionary Society and Choir. She was also a member of Maple Chapter No. 337 OES; Rebekah Lodge No. 264 and Royal Neighbors. She is survived by one son James of Reseda, Calif., four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Emma Yousling and Mrs. Aura Petersen, both of Ida Grove; one brother, Clayton Crum of Odebolt; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. James Stough of Reseda, Calif., a sister-in-law, Mrs. Clayton Crum of Odebolt, also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred, one son, Kenneth, her parents, two sisters and three brothers. Funeral services were held in the Christensen Funeral Home on Thursday at 2 p. m. with Rev. C. H. Lacquement officiating. She was laid to rest in the Ida Grove cemetery on her 84th birthday. Pall bearers were Bruce Piper, Joe Dolejs, Mark Piper, Don Bradshaw, John Marsh and Thos. Copps.
