Description	:	MRS JOHN FOBER Margaret Tate was born in Ireland, November 4th, 1840, and at the age of six years her parents came to America, locating Thompsonville, Conn., where on January 20, 1864, she was united in marriage with Mr. John Fober. Mrs. Fober passed away at her home in Cedar Falls, Iowa, Sunday June 13th, 1920, and funeral services were held in her late home Tuesday forenoon, and in the afternoon the remains were brought to Manchester and interment was made in Masonville cemetery. Read More	MRS JOHN FOBER Margaret Tate was born in Ireland, November 4th, 1840, and at the age of six years her parents came to America, locating Thompsonville, Conn., where on January 20, 1864, she was united in marriage with Mr. John Fober. Mrs. Fober passed away at her home in Cedar Falls, Iowa, Sunday June 13th, 1920, and funeral services were held in her late home Tuesday forenoon, and in the afternoon the remains were brought to Manchester and interment was made in Masonville cemetery. Mrs. Fober was the mother of six children, three of whom, together with the husband and father, have preceeded her to the better world. The three children who survive are: J. B. Fober of Cedar Falls, Mrs. J. J. Williams of Chicago, and M. J. Fober of near Manchester. Early in their married life Mr. and Mrs. Fober removed to Iowa, and located on a farm near Cascade. Later they came to Delaware county, and settled on a farm in the Rock Prairie neighborhood northeast of Manchester. In 1873 they removed to a farm in Richland township, where they resided until 1900, when they moved to Masonville. Two years ago Mrs. Fober and her grand-daughter, Laura Mae, moved to Cedar Falls. Mrs. Fober was a life long Christian, and was a devoted member of the Wesleyan Methodist church at Dundee and Masonville. The profound sympathy of many friends is extended to the children in the sorrow that has come to them in the death of their mother.
