Description	:	Last Rites for Mrs. Margaret Voight- Mrs. Margaret Voight, one of the two children of Christopher and Rosina Nurnberg, was born in Rutherback, Bavaria, on Febr. 18, 1860 and passed away at St. Edward, Nebr., at the age of 90 years, 1 month and 11 days after a lingering illness. Read More	Last Rites for Mrs. Margaret Voight- Mrs. Margaret Voight, one of the two children of Christopher and Rosina Nurnberg, was born in Rutherback, Bavaria, on Febr. 18, 1860 and passed away at St. Edward, Nebr., at the age of 90 years, 1 month and 11 days after a lingering illness. At the age of 23 she came to America with her parents and settled in Baltic, Conn. On August 23, 1883, she was united in marriage to Adolph Voight in Baltic, Conn. and moved to Natic, Rhode Island. In 1885, they moved to Wonkescha, Wisconsin, and in 1888, moved to Platte County, Nebraska, and later to St. Edward to spend their declining years. To this union were born eleven children, 4 boys and 7 girls. She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 17, 1932, two sons and three daughters. Her daughter, Mrs. Louis Sauler, died March 15, 1949, her daughter, Annie, Mrs. Carl Brandt, in 1916, her son Chris in 1911. One son and one daughter died soon after birth. She leaves to mourn her passing, two sons, and four daughters, Henry Voight of Norfolk, NE, Lena, Mrs. Frank Skach, Portland, OR., Emma, Mrs. Emil Seda, Boone, NE., Elizabeth, Mrs. Walter Zimmerman, Cedar Rapids, NE., Ben Voight, Englewood, Colorado, Augusta, Mrs. Clarence Cook, McCook, NE., and her aged sister, Mrs. Christina Farrington, North Attleboro, Massechusetts. Her survivors also include thirty grandchildren, fifty six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Funeral Services were conducted from the Catholic Church in St. Edward on Saturday, April 1 at 9:00 a.m. with the Rev James Brady officiating. Interment was made at the Evergreen Cemetery at St. Edward. Pall bearers were Emil Seda, Don Briese, Elmer Tieman, Raymond Choyeski, Walter Peterson and Bruno Schapman. Those attending last rites from a distance were Mr & Mrs Henry Brandt, Sterling, Colorado; Mr & Mrs Clarence Cook, McCook, NE; Nick Schmidt, Mrs. Walter Schmidt & Mr & Mrs Ole Johnson of Platte Center, NE.; Mr & Mrs Walter Peterson, Mr & Mrs Bruno Schapman and daughter, and Mrs. Claire Seifert of Tilden, NE.; Henry Voight and daughter, Rita of Norfolk, Mr & Mrs. Lawrence Choyeski, Belgrade; Mr & Mrs Raymond Choyeski, of Fullerton; Mr & Mrs George Tourtillott and son and Mr & Mrs Walter Zimmerman of Cedar Rapids; Mr & Mrs. Emil Seda and family and Mr & Mrs Don Briese of Boone.
