Description	:	Margaret Helen Kucera, 91, of Bickford Cottages, Cedar Falls, formerly of Traer, died Friday, Nov. 10, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home, Waterloo, of natural causes. She was born Jan. 10, 1915, near Clutier, daughter of John T. and Mary Parizek Nachazel. She married Joseph B. Kucera Nov. 25, 1941, and he preceded her in death Feb. 20, 1997. She enjoyed crafts, quilting, painting ceramics and gathering with family. She was active in the KD Lodge, Catholic Order of Foresters and the Altar and Rosary Society. Bluffs; five daughters, Joanne (Russ) Vlasak and Judy Thill, both of Waterloo, Nancy (Duane) Schmitt of Columbus, Neb., Bonnie (Dave) Burgan of Midland, Mich., and Elly (Mark) Mack of Marshalltown; 21 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Milo Nachazel of Dysart; a sister, Mildred Zmolek of Toledo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by two brothers, James Nachazel and one in infancy; and two sisters, Dorothy Hayek and Agnes Hlas. Services at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, near Clutier, with burial in St. Vaclav Cemetery, Clutier. Public visitation from 2 to 5 p.m. today at Overton Funeral Home, Traer, where there will be a 5 p.m. Scripture service. Memorial fund has been established. Margaret was a hard worker who enjoyed her large vegetable garden, flowers and farm life. She was known for her cooking, baking and being with friends and family.
