Description	:	Glasco Sun, Sept. 14, 1939, page 1: Obituary Margaret Hare Mrs. Margaret Hare, daughter of John and Janet Hillhouse was born in Platte City, Mo., Feb. 22, 1860 and departed this life September 3, 1939 at the home of her son, in Blackwell, Oklahoma. She was united in holy matrimony to Marcus L. Hare, January 5, 1878 at Delphos, Kansas. To this union three children were born, Mrs. Jeanette Coleman of Wichita, Kansas, Charles Hare of Blackwell, Okla., and Mrs. C.W. Olmstead of San Francisco, California. Read More	Glasco Sun, Sept. 14, 1939, page 1: Obituary Margaret Hare Mrs. Margaret Hare, daughter of John and Janet Hillhouse was born in Platte City, Mo., Feb. 22, 1860 and departed this life September 3, 1939 at the home of her son, in Blackwell, Oklahoma. She was united in holy matrimony to Marcus L. Hare, January 5, 1878 at Delphos, Kansas. To this union three children were born, Mrs. Jeanette Coleman of Wichita, Kansas, Charles Hare of Blackwell, Okla., and Mrs. C.W. Olmstead of San Francisco, California. She moved to near Glasco with her parents in 1864. Since then she has lived in or near Glasco. She was a kind and loving mother to her children. Her home was a place of love and devotion. Though she was interested in the welfare and progress of her community, yet she never took an active part in those things. Besides her children, she leaves to mourn her going, two grandchildren, Gwenivere and Margaret Hare, one brother, D.H. Hillhouse and one sister, Mrs. Catherine Abbott, Bellflower, California and other near relatives and many friends. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Roy Allsbury of the Methodist church Thursday morning at the Glasco mortuary. Burial made in the Glasco cemetery. Out of town relatives and friends to attend the last rites were Mrs. Nellie Sterling and daughters, Juanita and Cleo, of Concordia, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hare and family of Bennington and Earl Bartow of Salina. ******************** Cloud County Cemetery Book, Volume 4, page 184
