Description	:	Mrs. Thomas F. Birmingham died at 11:30 Tuesday evening, at the family residence in this city. She had been in failing health for some time. Margaret J. Gallagher was born at Gratiot, Wisconsin, seventy one years ago, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Gallagher of Gratiot, and grew to young womanhood in Wisconsin. She was united in marriage at Darlington, Wisconsin on February 10, 1887, to Thomas F. Birmingham of O'Neill, who with her brother, Edward F. Gallagher, had settled in this community some years before, and came to O'Neill with her husband immediately after the marriage. Mr.... Read More	Mrs. Thomas F. Birmingham died at 11:30 Tuesday evening, at the family residence in this city. She had been in failing health for some time. Margaret J. Gallagher was born at Gratiot, Wisconsin, seventy one years ago, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Gallagher of Gratiot, and grew to young womanhood in Wisconsin. She was united in marriage at Darlington, Wisconsin on February 10, 1887, to Thomas F. Birmingham of O'Neill, who with her brother, Edward F. Gallagher, had settled in this community some years before, and came to O'Neill with her husband immediately after the marriage. Mr. and Mrs. Birmingham resided at the old Potter house, then the leading hotel of this section, while Mr. Birmingham was preparing a home for his bride. The arrival of Mr. and Mrs. Birmingham at the Potter house made the third bridal couple then in residence there, the others being Mr. and Mrs. D.A. Doyle and Mr. and Mrs. M.F. Harrington. Mrs. Birmingham with her husband was prominently identified with the development and social life of the young and growing community and continued to take an active interest in affairs until prevented by failing health. Her sweet and kindly disposition and unaffected manner endeared her to the very many who enjoyed the privilege of her acquaintance and who join with her sorrowing husband, son, sister and other relatives in mourning her departure. Mrs. Birmingham is survived by her husband, Thomas F. Birmingham, her son, Hugh, and her sister, Miss Cassie Gallagher of this city. The funeral service will be from St. Patrick's church Friday morning at 9 o'clock, the Very Reverend M.F. Cassidy celebrating the Requiem Mass. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.
