Dubuque Telegraph Herald 12 Nov 1922 Edgewood News Edgewood -- Mrs. Margaret Steele died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles McKean, in Welcome, Minn., last Monday, aged 62 years. She was born near Littleport, Ia., on September 6, 1879. She was married to John Todd and to their union one son, Charles Todd, now residing in Edgewood was born. After the death of Mr. Todd she married Horace Steele. Two children, Thomas and Emma, were born to them. Thomas died in infancy and Emma is now the wife of Charles McKean of Welcome, Minn. Mr. Steele died in 1895. Mrs. Steele was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church of Edgewood. Funeral services were held last Wednesday and burial was made in the Edgewood Cemetery.
