Mrs. King was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the Sodality, Christian Mothers and the Third Order of St. Francis. She is survived by five children, John R. King, Charlotte, N. C.; Carl F. King, city; James L. King, Silver Spring; Mrs. Bernard Gehauf, city, and Mrs. Nels Anderson, Quantico, Va.; 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The body is at the George Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p. rh. and 7 to 9 p. m. The rosary will be recited tomorrow at 8 p. m. at the funeral home." Note: her obituary shows she was the daughter of Anna Catherine Bernard but Anna died in 1872 and Maggie was not born until 1885. John Geatz married his second wife, Catherine Elliott in 1882 and Margaret is the daughter of his second marriage. The obituary for John Geatz shows that Maggie was the daughter of Catherine Elliott. I believe this is a mistake in the obituary and the person giving the info was confused as both of John's wives were named Catherine aka Katie.
