Description	:	Grand Island (Nebraska) Independent Wednesday, 15 May 1991 ALBION - Margaret Wheeler, 85, of Albion died Monday, May 13, at the Wolf Memorial Good Samaritan Care Center. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Zion Lutheran Church in Albion. The Rev. Don Wilken will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Albion. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Levander Funeral Home in Albion. Mrs. Wheeler was born May 26, 1905, at Albion to Detlef and Mary Margaret (Gerber) Naeve. She attended Boone County District 35 School south of Albion and graduated from Albion High School in 1924. She married Roy "Jack" Wheeler on Jan. 5, 1927, at the Lutheran Parsonage in Albion. They farmed three miles west of St. Edward until 1965 when they moved to Albion where she worked in the laundry department at Wolf Memorial Good Samaritan Center. She also worked as a cleaning lady at various offices in Albion and was a seamstress. Mr. Wheeler died in 1976. She entered the Wolf Memorial Home in the fall of 1988. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church where she also served as Sunday School Secretary for many years. She was also a longtime 4-H leader. She is survived by two sons, Dale of Albion and Dean of Osceola; one daughter, Shirley (Mrs. Jimmie) Woodward of Concord; three sisters, Anna Vette of Albion and Elsie Gerber and Laura Prible, both of Colorado Springs, Colo.; one brother, Harold Naeve of Albion; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
