She had been suffering with diabetes for some time and recently was seized with a stroke of paralysis. For the last two weeks she had been seriously ill and was in the care of Miss Cecelia Koob, a registered nurse. Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9:30 o'clock in Holy Angels church where the Rev. Father Louis Anthofer will celebrate requiem high mass. Burial will be in Holy Angels cemetery. Margaret Ochsenkehl, daughter of Frank and Barbara Ochsenkehl, was born in Dubuque county near Dyersville, Aug. 23, 1862, and when 14 years of age moved with her parents to Roselle, where she grew up and attended school. She was married to Peter Friedman at Roselle Oct. 24, 1882, and 12 children were born to them. Three sons, Joseph, Nick, Joseph, and one daughter, Margaret, preceded her in death, as did her parents, a brother and three sisters. The children, who with the husband, survive, are Frank Friedman of Halbur; Matt Friedman and William Friedman , both of Roselle; John Friedman of Louisville, Ky.; Mrs. Fred Spieker (Louisa) of Petersburg, Neb.; Mrs. Clarence Fritz (Minnie) of Carroll; Mrs. Ben Salber (Mary) of Petersburg, Neb., and Sister M. Petrine (Lena) of Remsen. The latter is a nun of Mount St. Frances convent at Dubuque. Mrs. Friedman also leaves 35 grandchildren. Mrs. Friedman was a devout Catholic and died well fortified with the last sacraments of the church. She was a member of the Holy Rosary society of Holy Angels church.
