Description	:	Margaret Star Polson - Margaret Olive Starr, 87, of Polson died peacefully May 22, 2000, at Evergreen Health Car Center. She was born Feb. 11, 1912, in White Earth, N.D., to Louis and Louisa Anderson. She graduated from Polson High School and lived in Portland and in California. She worked as a pipefitter's helper during World War II and later as a seamstress for companies such as White Stag and Pendleton. Margaret moved back to Polson in 1974. Read More	Margaret Star Polson - Margaret Olive Starr, 87, of Polson died peacefully May 22, 2000, at Evergreen Health Car Center. She was born Feb. 11, 1912, in White Earth, N.D., to Louis and Louisa Anderson. She graduated from Polson High School and lived in Portland and in California. She worked as a pipefitter's helper during World War II and later as a seamstress for companies such as White Stag and Pendleton. Margaret moved back to Polson in 1974. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Polson, where for many years she helped make quilts to send to Third World countries. She is survived by her brother, Arnold (Andy) Anderson of Beaverton, Ore., sisters Mabel Roskie and Bessie Sampson of Polson; nieces Barbara Legoo of Nehalem, Ore., Susan Jones of Beaverton, Eleanore Hasley of Rockford, Ill., Gayleen Edison of Stockton, Calif., and Carol Sherick of Polson, and a nephew, Don Roskie, of Missoula. A memorial service was held Wednesday at Grogan Funeral Home in Polson, with the Rev. Paul Rowold officiating. Cremation and arrangements were by Grogan Funeral Home and Crematory.
