Margaret married Tim Claassen on 29 Sep 1892 in Boyd county (from marriage index for Boyd county but obituary below does not agree?) and they farmed in Morton township, Boyd, NE. The following obituary was generously contributed to Margaret's memorial by great-nephew, Joe Schallan: Spencer Advocate (NE); May 1932 Marguerita Wagner was born January 22, 1867 at Newhall, Ia. She came to Boyd county and was married to Tim J. Claassen September 30, 1892 at O'Neill, Nebr. To this union was born nine children: Otto, Mrs. Luella Enke, Tim, Jr. Frank, Mrs. Margaret Seastone and Lenora of Spencer; Henry of Stuart, and Mrs. Isabelle Petersen of Shellsburg, Ia. The husband and one son, Jacob, preceded her in death. Besides the children there are four grandchildren. Also left to mourn are three brothers: Otto and William Wagner of Newhall, Ia.; Henry Wagner of Spencer, and four sisters, Elizabeth Wagner and Mrs. Emma Johnson of Newhall, Augusta Wagner of Longmont, Colo., and Mrs. Mary Shallon [sic] of Havalock, Ia. All of the children and many friends were here for the services at the Methodist church, Monday, May 9. Burial was made in the Union cemetery of Spencer. The deceased passed away at her home in Spencer, May 6, at the age of 65 years, 3 months and 14 days.
