Description	:	BILLINGS - Marge "Peg" Edgell, of Billings, died Sunday afternoon, Nov. 16, 2008, from an unexpected illness in St. Vincent Healthcare. The daughter of William Sr. and Margaret Gaughan, Peg was born April 4, 1939 in Butte. She graduated from Butte Central High in 1957. Peg worked as a waitress, legal secretarial jobs in Billings. She opened and operated the Professional Look Salon and Beauty Supply in Billings Heights for several years until 2001. Peg later worked at Billings Clinic until her retirement. The daughter of William Sr. and Margaret Gaughan, Peg was born April 4, 1939 in Butte. She graduated from Butte Central High in 1957. Peg worked as a waitress, legal secretarial jobs in Billings. She opened and operated the Professional Look Salon and Beauty Supply in Billings Heights for several years until 2001. Peg later worked at Billings Clinic until her retirement. Her most rewarding work however was caring for her grandsons. Peg met her husband, Tommy Edgell, while he was stationed at the Army Induction Center in Butte. They were later married on May 25, 1963, in St. John's Catholic Church in Butte. They made their home on a family ranch in Forsyth, until moving to Billings in 1964. Peg enjoyed celebrating her faith with family and friends at St. Bernard's Catholic Church. Peg's grandsons were the light of her life and she loved watching them play sports and attending their activities. She enjoyed fishing, camping and boating in her favorite place, Bighorn Canyon National Recreation Area. Peg stayed active playing bunco, cards and other games with her dear family and friends. She loved to travel and was always up for adventure. Family was very important to Peg and she cherished any opportunity to gather everyone together. She was a caring mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend to many. We will miss her dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy L. Edgell: parents, William Sr. and Margaret Gaughan; brother, William Gaughan Jr.; father-in-law, Stanley Edgell; and brother-in-law, Alan Edgell. Survivors include her children: daughter, Kelly Jo; son, Keith (Jennifer) and their children, Zachary, Justin and Kyle; and son, Kurt (Karen) and their children, Payton, and Kaeden Edgell and Dyllan, Brandon and Karsten Herman. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Lavina Edgell; special aunt, Hazel Tait of Forsyth; brother, Jack Gaughan (Sharon) and family, Sandy (Steve), Cindy (Mark), Sherri (David), Mark (Mary) and their children; sister, Rosemary Yavarow and family, Christy (Ben), Mike Jr. (Carrie), Wendy (Chuck), Colleen (Neal), Brian, Matt and their children; sister, Nonie (Ted) Bisch and family, John, Toni (Mike), Micki (Trevor) and their children; the late Bill Gaughan family, Brett, Brennon and Holly (Sabino), and their children; and family and cousins of the Finch, Tait and Eichorn families. Visitation will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday and from 8 a.m. until the conclusion of the vigil service on Thursday. Cremation will follow. The rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 20, in Michelotti-Sawyers. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at noon Friday, Nov. 21, in St. Bernard's Parish in Billings, followed by a reception at the church. Inurnment will be held at Yellowstone Valley Memorial Park.
